    After migrating to the PSD 14.2 Allegro release, why do my paths
    and variables no longer seem to work? (Feb-03)


    This is a known problem PCR (448324) which has been fixed in an
    available patch. When variables are added using the Preference
    Editor, it adds the statement source $TELENV just above the new
    entries. This causes anything above $TELENV to be discarded.

    For those that wish a patch to the 14.2 release of software, please 
    download the patches from http://software.cadence.com/sw/media or
    contact the Cadence Customer Support hotline and  request an ISR
    that contains the patches to PCR (448324).

    A workaround for this problem until the patch can be installed is
    to manually add the statement source $TELENV immediately after the
    statement
    

               source $ALLEGRO_INSTALL_DIR/text/env.



    From Solution No. 11025368 - Settings in my env file don't work
    in release 14.2.
